Pakistani actress Humaira Asghar’s demise has shocked all. Yesterday, reports had it that her decomposed body was found in her home in Karachi. Reportedly, the actress passed away a few weeks ago. She lived alone and nobody realised that she is no more until Police broke up the door.

After her body was recovered, it was sent for postmortem. Later, allegedly, the police contacted her family who refused to claim her body. Reports suggest that her father refused to claim her body stating that he serves no relationship with her.

The police had first contacted her brother who asked them to contact their father. Now, reports suggest that the police is making attempts to convince her family to claim her mortal remains and give her a proper funeral.

How Police found Humaira Asghar’s body

As per several reports, Humaira Asghar was living in this apartment in Karachi for the past seven years. However, she reportedly wasn’t paying rent since 2024. The landlord moved to court and sent a notice was sent to the actress. Police reached the residence with the notice and got suspicious when she did not open the door. Reportedly, the police then broke open the door and found her body.

As reported by Images, Dr Summaiya Syed who is a part of the investigation in Humaria Asghar’s death case said that ‘The body is in a very advanced stage of decomposition.’ Several reports claim that she passed away two weeks ago.
