The 27th season of the much-loved and entertaining show Big Brother is here. There is much excitement among the fans especially because of the theme of the show this year. Big Brother season 27 has been officially titled as Big Brother: A Summer of Mystery, thus promising fans a hell lot of mystery and intrigue. While all the 16 contestants have already been announced, there is a special mystery contestant whose identity has still been kept under wrap. Earlier, CBS described the new season as ‘masked visitor, a secret accomplice and the shocking arrival of a ‘Mystery Houseguest’. So here’s everything you need to know about the Big Brother season 27.
When and where to watch
Big Brother season 27 premiere is scheduled on July 10 (Thursday) at 8 PM ET on CBS. The live stream of the show will begin from July 13 (Sunday). Post the premiere, the new episodes of the show will air on Wednesdays at 88 p.m. ET / PT. The following day, a 60-minute episode will air featuring live evictions. Even on Sundays, fans will get to see 60-minute long episodes.
Big Brother 27 will stream on several platforms including Paramount+, Hulu + Live TV, DirecTV, Pluto TV as reported by Mint. Fans can also watch all the live events unfolding in the house with the companion show called Big Brother: Unlocked. The show will air every Friday from July 25. Fans will also be able to watch the live feeds which will begin on July 13 (Sunday) at 9:30 p.m. ET on Paramount+ Premium and Pluto TV.
All you need to know about Big Brother 27
The contestants of Big Brother 27 will be living in a house that has been titled as Hotel Mystère. Julie Chen, the host of Big Brother 27, revealed to USA Today that the mystery 17th guest on the show is a polarising personality. She also added that the each decorative item in the house has a larger purpose attached to it. The famed bunk beds are also returning to Big Brother.
