Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty recently talked about how her career transformed and how people’s perceptions of her were altered by the global reality TV show “Big Brother.” Former Super Dancer judge Shilpa Shetty talked about the moment in her career when her films were failing in a video interview with a digital platform. She went on to say that “Big Brother” helped her career take a new turn. She can be seen saying, “Big Brother happened and it changed people’s perspective towards me. It gave me international recognition. It revived my career and that time I decided I want to get married.” Shilpa also mentioned that because there was no point of reference in India, she watched a few episodes before to joining the show.
How Shilpa felt after watching few of the episodes?
The actress said, “I got scared seeing some of the episodes and I got a watertight contract made saying I won’t go bare in the show. The makers assured me that I will be entering in celebrity Big Brother.” She went on to say that she believed she would be eliminated in the second week of the four-week show.
Shilpa said, “In the third week it dawned upon me that the Asians are all voting for me. All the Pakistanis, and Bangladeshis they really went all out voting for me. I won by 64% votes.”

Shilpa also addressed how Big Brother transformed her character. Speaking about the same, the actress said that the reality program made her stronger.
