It is Ahaan Panday’s performance that has received major appreciation. There was a lot of buzz around the movie as Ahaan Panday’s performance in the trailer left fans quite intrigued. The movie has now taken an excellent start at the box office. The first day collection of the movie indicates that Saiyaara is on the path of being a massive box office hit. It has already entered the top five highest opening day grossers of 2025.
Saiyaara performs well at the box office on day 1
As reported by Sacnilk.com, Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda’s movie Saiyaara has touched the mark of Rs 17.96 crore on its opening day. It is definitely a fabulous start. Going by the numbers, Saiyaara now stands fifth in the list of highest opening day grossers of 2025. The first on the list is Vicky Kaushal‘s Chhaava that opened at Rs 31 crore. Salman Khan‘s film Sikandar takes the second spot with the opening day collection of Rs 26 crore. Akshay Kumar‘s Housefull 5 had made around Rs 24 crore on its first day at the box office. Ajay Devgn‘s Raid 2 also had a fantastic start of Rs 19.25 crore. The fifth on the list was Sky Force that made Rs 12.25 crore. But now, the spot has taken by Saiyaara with a business of more than Rs 17 crore. The film has also defeated Aamir Khan’s latest movie Sitaare Zameen Par that made Rs 10.7 crore at the box office on day 1 as per the reports.
Saiyaara sets new record
Saiyaara has also made a new record by being the highest opening day grosser movie featuring debutants. As per reports, Janhvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khatter’s movie was earlier ruling the throne with a collection of Rs 8.76 crore. But now, it is Saiyaara that is ruling the list. The movie has also left behind Student of The Year that launched Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan and Sidharth Malhotra.
