Popular television actress Dipika Kakar manages to turn heads in style with her charming persona. The actress recently won the battle against cancer, and her husband, Shoaib Ibrahim, stood beside her. Dipika is currently undergoing oral target therapy and her family is taking care of her. Amid all of this, there were reports of Dipika to make her comeback on the small screen with Ravi Dubey and Sargun Mehta’s Dreamiyata Entertainment. As per reports, Dipika was all set to star opposite Vivian Dsena in a show.
Dipika Kakar is NOT planning to make her television comeback
As per Pinkvilla reports, Dipika Kakar will not be part of a new show under Ravi Dubey and Sargun Mehta’s Dreamiyata Entertainment. Well, there is no confirmation either by Dipika or Vivian Dsena. As per a source close to the development, fans might have to wait a little to watch Dipika making her comeback on the small screens. A source revealed, “It is not true. She is only focusing on her health and quality time with her family.”
Dipika has become a household name with her role as Simar in Sasural Simar Ka and Kahaan Hum Kahaan Tum. She was last seen on Celebrity MasterChef, but quit the show midway due to health issues. She even won Bigg Boss 12.
Dipika underwent a 14-hour-long surgery in June 2025 after she was diagnosed with stage-2 liver cancer. Shoaib has not allowed Dipika to enter the kitchen and wants her to rest. In a recent Instagram live, Dipika spoke about her possible comeback on the screens and said that she would love to start acting again. She even said that she had asked her doctors about returning to work. Now it is clear that Dipika has prioritised her health and personal life over her career. Her fans keep supporting her and praying for her recovery. Dipika will be staying away from acting for the time being now.
On the other hand, Vivian is known for her roles in shows like Madhubala – Ek Ishq Ek Junoon, Shakti — Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki, Pyaar Kii Ye Ek Kahaani, and Sirf Tum. He was last seen in Bigg Boss 18.
