Smriti Irani, Ekta Kapoor to visit Nathdwara temple ahead of Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahi Thi reboot

The much-anticipated reboot of Ekta Kapoor’s iconic show Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi is set to premiere on July 29, 2025. The show is returning with the original cast reprising their roles, including Smriti Irani as Tulsi and Amar Upadhyay as Mihir, bringing back nostalgic memories for fans. According to reports, Ekta Kapoor and Smriti Irani are set to visit Nathdwara Temple in Rajasthan on July 27, 2025, to seek blessings for their upcoming reboot of Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi. Fans are eagerly awaiting to see their favorite show. For the unversed, Nathdwara Temple is one of the oldest and most famous temples in the state dedicated to Lore Krishna. The history of the temple is over 300 years.

All about Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi

The teaser of Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi is already out, nostalgically taking viewers back to the iconic Virani house in Shanti Niketan, featuring Smriti Irani in the iconic role as Tulsi. The reboot of the show marks the return of several original star cast, including Amar Upadhyay as Mihir Virani, Hiten Tejwani as Karan Virani, and Gauri Pradhan as Nandini Virani. Apart from this, the promo of the show reveals the entry of new faces in the drama, including Rohit Suchanti, Shagun Sharma, and Aman Gandhi. The show will premiere on July 29, 2025, at 10:30 pm.

Recalling the old memories, Smriti Irani said, “I still remember when we first started working on the show; we were about 120-150 people. None of us owned a house or a car. We all laid the financial foundation of our lives through Kyunki. People may watch us on screen, but many don’t realise how many households keep their stoves burning simply because someone switches on the television.” Smriti also revealed that the success of the show transformed the lives of people who worked in the production.
