Jimin from BTS is extremely famous for his group projects being part of the most famous k-pop boy band in the world as well as his solo projects. He is planning a comeback with BTS in 2026 as he completed his military service in June 2025. Song Da-eun is a korean actress who became famous through a reality dating programme Heart Signal 2 in 2018. She has appeared in a few k-dramas like Once Again (2020) and has maintained a steady presence in the industry while building an audience on social media platforms

Original Dating allegations

Originally, these dating allegations surfaced in 2022 when there were a few things overlapping in Jimin’s and Da-eun’s social media accounts. But Da-eun often pushed back against the trolls on such claims.

Resurfacing of the Allegations

These allegations resurfaced earlier this week just after Jimin’s discharge from the military. A now deleted clip was allegedly posted on Da-eun’s TikTok handle, where she was seen waiting for Jimin by the elevator and surprised him. This video was allegedly from Jimin’s apartment in Seoul.

Many people are dissecting the clip of Da-eun and Jimin and said that it is an old video and definitely not recent because Jimin was serving in the military since 2023.

In a 2023 Weverse Magazine feature, producer Pdogg recalled how Jimin struggled to relate and do a serenade concept behind the track Who from his solo album Muse as he said ‘Am I even capable of loving someone?’ And that lead to the creation of Who.

Earlier in 2025, Song Da-eun issued a statement taking legal action against those who have allegedly accused gher of being involved in the Burning Scandal and spread rumours of her dating Jimin. “Everything’s my fault? Burning Scandal? Escort girl? Fake news? That’s not me. I’m not accused.”

They concluded the statement by saying “We ask that you refrain from making reckless speculations about their private lives.
