According to the media reports, Smriti Irani is reportedly paid Rs 14 lakh for each episode of the Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi reboot. Yes, you read that right! The fees are much higher than what she used to get back in 2000 for playing the role of Tulsi.

In an interview with Curly Tales, she recalled receiving a fee of Rs 1,800 per episode. Smriti said that as per the contract, she was paid around Rs 1200-1300 per day. She even revealed that she was doing a cleaner’s job at McDonald’s and she was getting paid Rs 1800 a month. She even said that getting Rs 1200 a day was much better as she had no concrete job then.

As per the announcement, Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi will premiere on July 29 at 10:30 PM and the drama show might also have a 7-day run.

She used to work 20 days a month and earned Rs 20 lakhs per month and Rs 2.4 crore annually from the show.
