Popular television actress Dipika Kakar, who underwent surgery for stage‑2 liver cancer in June 2025, is now recovering. Actor and husband Shoaib Ibrahim continues to provide updates about Dipika’s health to all their fans. He had revealed that Dipika’s oral target therapy started, and she had mild ulcers in her mouth after a few sessions. In the last vlog, Shoaib received a lot of praise for visiting Haji Ali and praying for his wife’s better health. Dipika’s fans are eagerly waiting for her comeback on the small screen and cannot stay calm.
Dipika was last seen in the cooking reality show Celebrity MasterChef as a contestant, but she quit the show midway due to her health issues. Her comeback on the Celebrity MasterChef marked her first on‑screen return after a four‑year hiatus, and fans wanted her to win the show.
Dipika Kakar to be paired alongside Vivian Dsena?
As per reports, Dipika Kakar will make her comeback on TV and will work with Sargun Mehta & Ravi Dubey’s production banner, such as Dreamiyata Entertainment. Moreover, there are reports that state that Dipika will be paired with Vivian Dsena for the upcoming show. Vivian was last seen in Sirf Tum opposite Eisha Singh. He even participated in Bigg Boss 18 and managed to make females go weak in the knees with his infectious smile. There is no official announcement about her joining a new TV serial under the production house of Sargun and Ravi. Neither is there any confirmation of her being paired with actor Vivian. Eagle-eyed fans have noticed that Vivian and his wife, Nouran Aly have started following Dipika on social media.
On the work front, Dipika made her TV debut in 2010 with Neer Bhare Tere Naina Devi where she played Lakshmi. She was later seen in Agle Janam Mohe Bitiya Hi Kijo, Sasural Simar Ka, Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 8, Bigg Boss 12, Kahaan Hum Kahaan Tum, and more shows. She met Shoaib on the sets of the show and got married in 2018. They became parents to son Ruhaan in 2023.
