The Korea Press Ethics Commission (KPEC) have officially cautioned 25 media outlets in South Korea for using the actor’s name to publish unethical reports over the controversy between Kim Soo Hyun and Kim Sae Ron. As per the commission, the reports were found to violate Articles 10 and 11 of the Korean constitution.

The commission made sure that using a real person’s name in such a serious case, without proof, is a serious crime, and this paints them in a false light in the public eye. Around 14 media houses have been given a warning for reporting false reports regarding the Kim Soo Hyun and Kim Sae Ron case earlier this year.
