The entrepreneur was caught in action while he was seen hugging the HR head, which has sparked allegations about the two having an affair. Andy is married to Megan Kerrigan Byron. Now, a statement from Andy Byron’s namesake about the cheating row has surfaced online.

The namesake of Astronomer CEO, Andy Byron, has become the talk of the town. On June 18, 2025 an account on LinkedIn shared the post addressing the allegations, and the account named Andy Byron stated that it is not him as he would not be caught dead at a Coldplay concert. Andy Byron also changed his bio on his LinkedIn handle to ‘NOT THE GUY FROM THE COLDPLAY GIG!!’ He even took a humorous jab at what was going on and revealed that he makes videos for the big screen.
He said, “No, this isn’t me. I wouldn’t be caught dead at a Coldplay concert… I’m Andy Byron, the one who makes videos for big screens, not the one who gets caught on them. If you want to make video content that goes viral for the right reasons, let’s connect.”
Andy and Megan reside in New York. Well, neither Andy nor Kristin has addressed the allegations of the affair as of now. The statement was deemed fake as it read, “This is not who I want to be or how I want to represent the company I helped build. I’m taking the time to reflect, take accountability, and figure out the next steps, both personally and professionally. I ask for privacy as I navigate that process.”

The Coldplay concert on July 16, 2025 was held in Boston, and several clips from the same went viral. The two people who were unintentionally called out by the band’s frontman, Chris Martin. The musician called out a man and a woman who were seen on the ‘Kiss Cam’. After the camera focused on them, they quickly moved away and hid their faces. Chris Martin said that the couple was either having an affair or was too shy.
