Salman Khan was in the headlines after the director A.R. Murugadoss claimed that the actor was often late on the sets of Sikandar, making the entire crew wait for him. According to him, the actor often arrived by late evening for the shoots scheduled in the morning. For the unversed, Sikandar is a 2025 film released on 28 March 2025. Along with Salman Khan, it stars Rashmika Mandanna. Along with them, multiple other actors shared the screen, including Ayaan Lall. After the statements were released, Ayaan Lall came to Salman’s defense and said that the claims are not true. According to him, his perspective is totally different.
What did Ayaan Singh say?
In an interview given to the Hindustan Times, Ayaan Lall took a complete stand for the legendary actor. He claimed that the actor even used to bring food trucks so that the entire crew could eat what he is having. He said, “He never used to come 8 hours late. I have worked on set for a good 12-13 days, and this never happened. And if 5-10 mins or 1-2 hours here and there, you need to understand. For example, the Punjab floods, it’s very sad what happened, Diljit sir also posted, but Salman sir has donated to help victims of the Punjab floods.”
The actor continued, “So you have to understand that his only job is not to entertain the public or be a superstar. He is the man of society and the superstar of country, the bhai. He has a lot of things to do other than just entertain people. So if he reaches 5-10 mins late or 1-2 hours Late, it’s nothing. You have to understand his only job is not just to make films; he’s here for bigger things.”
