Apart from Border 2, Diljit Dosanjh also had the second instalment of No Entry in pipeline. However, he has now exited the film as confirmed by Boney Kapoor.
Diljit Dosanjh is currently one of the most talked about celebrities in India. From his music to films, everything is bringing a lot of praise for the Punjabi star. As an actor, he now has an interesting line-up of movies. One of the films was No Entry 2 produced by Boney Kapoor. The second instalment of No Entry was to feature Diljit Dosanjh, Varun Dhawan and Arjun Kapoor in key roles. However, Diljit Dosanjh is no more a part of the movie.
Boney Kapoor comments on Diljit Dosanjh’s exit from No Entry 2
For a while there were rumours suggesting that Diljit Dosanjh has stepped out of No Entry 2. Now it is producer Boney Kapoor who has confirmed the reports. In the latest media interaction, Kapoor revealed that Diljit is no more a part of the movie and they have parted ways in good spirits. He also stated that in the near future, he will collaborate with Diljit Dosanjh for a Punjabi film. To NDTV, Boney Kapoor was quoted saying “Yes, we have parted in good spirits as the dates were not aligning with our requirements; hopefully, we will soon do a Punjabi film together.” Rumours suggested that Diljit Dosanjh had to take a step back from No Entry 2 because of his packed schedule. He has a music tour coming up that was allegedly clashing with the shooting schedule of No Entry 2. The ace singer has Aura Tour scheduled in Australia and New Zealand from October 26 to November 13.
No Entry directed by Anees Bazmee released in 2005 and was one of the biggest hits of that year. The film starred Salman Khan, Anil Kapoor and Fardeen Khan in key roles. It served as a laugh riot making it one of the blockbuster films. Years later, the makers have decided to bring its second instalment with a fresh cast. It remains to be seen who replaces Diljit Dosanjh in No Entry 2.
