Cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal’s ex-wife, Dhanashree Verma, who is a well-known choreographer, actress and social media influencer, is currently seen in the reality show Rise and Fall. In a recent episode, she spoke openly about her personal life. She said that she has suffered a lot in her previous relationship and now does not want to get into a new relationship quickly. On the show, Dhanashree talked to Nayandeep Rakshit and Pawan Singh. She revealed that she had a dream in which she was in a scene from DDLJ – a field with yellow flowers all around, and she was enjoying that beautiful view. Nayandeep jokingly asked, “Who else was there in the dream with you? Maybe you are about to find your Raj in life.”

Dhanashree laughingly replied, “No, I don’t want anyone in my life now. I have been through a lot in my relationship. I’ll be the female Salman Khan of this industry.”
Dhanashree handled her divorce with a lot of respect. She said, “Everyone has to maintain self-respect, and when you are in a marriage, you need to keep the respect of the other person also intact. I could have also disrespected him. “Do you think I don’t have anything to say as a woman? But he was my husband; I respected him even when we were married, and I have to respect the fact that I was married to him. If you want to show yourself as a good person, then show it through your work; why put somebody else down to clean your own image?”
All about Dhanashree and Chahal’s marriage and divorce
Dhanashree and Chahal got married in December 2020. The two met and fell in love during the COVID-19 lockdown. After living together for a few years, their relationship turned sour and they finally got divorced on 20 March 2025 in Mumbai Family Court. Now both are on different paths in their lives.
