Mahieka Sharma has been making headlines ever since rumours about her link-up with cricketer Hardik Pandya surfaced. While the two have not confirmed or denied their dating rumours, details about Mahieka are also resurfacing on social media now. A model by profession, she is known for her amazing professionalism. In 2024, she faced a surprising challenge when her heel broke off during Gaurav Gupta’s fashion show. However, Mahieka did not stop and continued her rampwalk. In an interview with Elle, Maheika said, “I remember during the Gaurav Gupta show rehearsals, my eye was hurting so much, it was red and bloody and insane. The ramp was new to us – it had wide, long stairs, and as you know, my heel snapped right on the second stair during my walk. That show and walk were crucial for me this season.” She continued by saying, “When the insane amount of love for that walk started pouring in, I felt rejuvenated, seen and appreciated. I am so grateful. I didn’t see it coming. I was just proud of myself for giving it my all, despite the heel snapping and fearing my red eye. I’m so grateful everyone continued to put their faith in me, and that I was able to deliver,” she added.

Mahieka completed her degree in Economics and Finance before she became a full-time model. She has been in several music videos, independent films, and ad campaigns for brands such as Tanishq, Vivo, and Uniqlo. She has also walked the ramp for top Indian designers like Manish Malhotra, Anita Dongre and Tarun Tahiliani, and more. In 2024, Mahieka was honoured with the “Model of the Year (New Age)” award at the Indian Fashion Awards.

Mahieka was seen attending the India vs Pakistan match in Dubai on September 15. People noticed a faint male figure in the background of a selfie of Mahieka, who is rumoured to be Hardik.
