Released on August 28, 2025, the film is produced by Dulquer Salmaan’s production house, Wayfarer Films. The film continues to perform well in its fourth week. Initial estimates indicate that as of September 20, the film grossed approximately Rs 2.67 crore in Kerala alone. This clearly shows that audience interest remains intact and the film’s collections are maintaining a steady run.
Lokah Chapter 1: Chandra: Story and cast
The film stars Kalyani Priyadarshan in the lead role, playing a mysterious woman named Chandra. The story begins in Bengaluru, where she encounters an illegal organ trafficking gang. The film also stars Naslin, Sandy Master, Arun Kurian, and Chandu Salimkumar. This film is a blend of dark fantasy and action, depicting a shadow world.
A large technical team was involved in the film’s production. Director and writer Dominic Arun, cinematographer Nimish Ravi, editor Chaman Chakko, and music composer Jakes Bejoy worked together to create the film.
