The LTT Commuter Backpack is a surprisingly well-executed everyday carry from a team better known for editing timelines than designing backpacks.
But credit where it’s due the Linus Tech Tips crew took their community’s feedback from the first bag and came back with a much stronger second effort.
This pack delivers a lot of what tech-focused commuters actually want. You get a smart internal layout with dedicated zones for your laptop and accessories, a structured build that keeps the bag upright on its own, and thoughtful touches like microfiber-lined pockets and hidden compartments.
It’s a bag that looks sharp, feels premium, and brings personality to your setup without overcomplicating things.
It’s not flawless. The harness system is average in terms of comfort, and it won’t work well for larger laptops like a 16-inch MacBook Pro. But those trade-offs are understandable given the structured design and the price point.
As a second-gen effort, this pack shows clear progress. If you’re a tech lover, gear enthusiast, or just someone who likes your bag to feel dialed in and different, the LTT Commuter is absolutely worth considering.
