Mission Workshop Meridian Review (HONEST Pros & Cons)

The Meridian’s front design is defined by its boxy, square shape. Some see it as tough and structured, while others find it slightly awkward. The EPX 200 fabric reinforces this look, offering durability, weather protection, and a noticeable crunch.

The front pocket under the rain flap provides added coverage and protection for gear. It works well for small items like sunglasses, but the shallow height limits space. Larger objects such as notebooks or tech pouches simply won’t fit.

That flap design itself divides opinion. While it does improve water resistance, some users might prefer a cleaner zipper-only look. Others argue that a touch of refinement, like magnets, could have made it sharper and more functional.

Behind the flap lies the clamshell admin compartment, which opens wide for easy access. Inside are zippered mesh pockets, elastic slots, and a key leash, giving you practical organization for accessories like chargers or cables.

The power mesh material feels premium and stretches nicely, adding quality to the organization. Over time, mesh can loosen with heavy use, but for now it works well for storing umbrellas, novels, or everyday gear in a tidy way.
