On 10.07.2025, security forces arrested 03 (three) active cadres of KCP (PWG) who were involved in extortion and threatening of general public, shop owners, bank employees in valley areas. The arrested cadres are:
i. Thoudam Chaothoi Meitei @ Anthony @ Loijing (41) of Phumlou Mamang Leikai, Imphal West district. He was arrested from Kameng Awang Leikai area under Lamsang-PS, Imphal West district,
ii. Laishram Beni Singh @ Khutheiba Khuman @ Khingba (43) of Yaiskul Police Lane, Imphal West district who was arrested from the locality of his residence,
iii. Ningthoujam Yamba Singh @ Boy @ Sanayamba (43) of Keirao Bitra Awang Leikai, Imphal East District who was arrested from the locality of his residence.
From their possession, 08 (eight) nos. of mobile phones containing SIM cards, 03 (three) Aadhaar cards and 01 (one) wallet along with a sum of Rs. 220/- were seized.
