Roshni Walia, known for her roles in Main Lakshmi Tere Aangan Ki and Bharat Ka Veer Putra – Maharana Pratap, is all set to make her Bollywood debut in Son of Sardaar 2, starring alongside Ajay Devgn and Mrunal Thakur. The actress breaks down at the trailer launch event of the comedy thriller in Mumbai. The 23-year-old was spotted fighting back her tears as she spoke about her experience while working with the team. The film features a star-studded cast including Ajay Devgn, Sanjay Dutt, Mrunal Thakur, Mukul Dev, Ravi Kishan, and Sanjay Mishra, among others. The film is a sequel to the 2012 action comedy film Son of Sardaar, which featured Sonakshi Sinha, Salman Khan, Sanjay Dutt, Juhi Chawla, and others.

Roshni Walia was expressing her admiration for the actors she had worked with in the film. While sharing her experience, the 23-year-old revealed that it is a big opportunity for her to be part of a big franchise. She was heard saying, “Yeh ek comedy film hai, but main rone lagungi kyunki mere liye yeh bohot badi baat hai… but thank you so much.” Later, she jokingly said, “Mera makeup kharab ho jayega.”
Roshni added, “Itni badi film hai aur sabke saath kaam karne ka mauka mila hai, bohot accha lag raha hai. Ek chhote sheher (Allahabad) se aakar in sab ke saath khadi hoon aur baithi hoon, it’s so surreal. I’m so overwhelmed… Sir (Ajay Devgn), main bol nahi paungi.”
The Main Lakshmi Tere Aangan Ki actress revealed that she got a sister (Mrunal Thakur) and a father figure, referring to Ajay Devgn. She further expressed that she is extremely happy to be part of this project and work with the cast of Son Of Sardaar 2 in her debut film.
Leading stars Ajay Devgn and Mrunal Thakur’s song, Phela Tu Duja Tu, is going viral on social media. Son of Sardaar 2, directed by Vijay Kumar Arora, is set to release in theatres on July 25, 2025. Ajay Devgn will reprise his role as Jaswinder ‘Jassi’ Singh Randhawa.
