Talking to entertainment news portal Telly Talk India, Rupali Ganguly said that the return of Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Thi is a proud moment for everyone and that one cannot compare her show Anupamaa with Ektaa Kapoor and Smriti Irani’s show. Earlier, it was Ektaa Kapoor who had said that these comparisons between the two shows are unfair. Over this, Rupali Ganguly said that it Ektaa’s graciousness to have said such kind words. The actress was quoted saying, “Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi is nostalgia. Hum sab ke liye badi garv ki baat hai ki woh humare channel pe show wapas aa raha hai (For all of us, it’s a matter of great pride that the show is returning to our channel). I don’t understand how can you compare Anupamaa with Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi.”

Yesterday, ahead of the premiere of Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, fans got to see Anupamaa and Tulsi Virani (Smriti Irani) together in a promotional video. It showed Anu video calling Tulsi and welcoming her back to TV. In a candid chat, the duo spoke about sanskaar and love of fans. The video caught everyone’s attention with many demanding that there should be a crossover of the two shows.
