Sanjay Narvekar shares his experience working with Shivaji Satam, Dayanand Shetty, says ‘Easiness sab…’ [Exclusive]

CID 2 has impressed the audience. The show was always the favourite of everyone. It began in 1998 and went off-air in 2018, leaving everyone heartbroken. After a successful run for 20 years, nobody wanted it to stop. People requested the makers to bring it back and hence, season two began in 2024. Our favourite stars Shivaji Satam, Dayanand Shetty, Ajay Nagrath, Aditya Srivastava, Ansha Sayed, Hrishikesh Pandey, Narendra Gupta were back. The second season is a big hit already. Not just television, it is ruling on Netflix too. The show is now available for the world to watch. This season has been full of twists and turns.

We saw ACP Pradyuman’s death show to Parth Samthaan entering the show as the new ACP Ayushmaan. Later, we saw the Barboza case being solved and Dr. Salunkhe was exposed as the ‘gaddar’ in the team. Janvi Chheda and Shraddha Musale made a comeback as Shreya and Dr. Tarika.

Recently, we saw Shreya came in with a special mission for Daya. Initially, it looked like she is making Daya do all the negative things. He was going on killing police officers. But later, it was revealed that it was all a mission to remove all the corrupt people from the system.

Sanjay Narvekar talks about working with CID 2 team

To investigate the case, Superintendent Omkar Sawant from Delhi was called. Sanjay Narvekar played the role. The actor earlier spoke about his role with us. Now, he has opened up about his experience working with Shivaji Satam, Dayanand Shetty and others.

He said, “Bahut interesting laga. Inke sath ek hi din mera shoot hua baki alag hua tha. Lekin bahut senior actors hai. Shivaji Satam, Daya ye sab kaafi saalo se CID mein kaam kar rahe hai lekin aisa nahi jatate ki vo senior hai. Vo log sabke sath mil jul ke kaam karte hai, ek rapport banate hai. Shivaji sir ko mai pehlse janta hu jabse hum Marathi stage karte the. Vo bahut acche insaan hai. Sabko sambhalke lete hai. Baki, Daya, Aditya aur baki sab vaise hi hai. Scenes ke pehle vo baat karte hai ki sir hum aise karte hai ya vaise karte hai. Toh easiness sab ke liye laate hai vo. Islye unke sath kaam karna aur easy hai.” This is a big story in entertainment news and TV news.

He also said that he took up the character of SOS in the show because he loved it. He shared that CID is of course a popular show but the character attracted him a lot and hence, he did the show.
