He was in a critical condition and was under serious observation in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). The team of the Kollywood veteran actor confirmed that he was admitted to the hospital in a very critical condition. He was under continuous observation. However, despite many efforts, the precious life couldn’t be saved, and he died battling a prolonged illness. The official statement reads, “Director Velu Prabhakaran has been in a critical condition since this morning. He remains under close medical supervision, and while he is still breathing, doctors have stated that his condition is extremely serious and requires continuous monitoring.”
