In an interview with Siddharth Kannan, Bobby recalled feeling humiliated by Bunty Walia during the shoot of Maine Dil Tujhko Diya. She said Maine Dil Tujhko Diya was her third film with Sohail Khan and Salman used to visit the sets. She even said that they would meet warmly and click pictures together. Bobby praised Salman and said that he was always humble and kind. She further said that Sohail Khan was also very nice and down-to-earth. She said that Sohail used to joke with her and everyone teased her in a fun way.

She further added saying, When it came time to discuss payment, I approached Bunty Walia sir and said, ‘Sir, my role has been increased—please increase my remuneration too.’ Bobby said that he responded saying that they gave her role and money and asked where they came from? Bobby said that she felt hurt and wanted to cry.

She had earlier thought that she would ask Sohail Khan to speak to him on her behalf since they were on good terms. But, she was afraid Bunty Walia would remove her from the film and she decided to stay silent. She accepted whatever little she received and called it like dry bread. She said that she shared a comfort level with Salman and Sohail and used to visit their homes, attend their parties. She even said that Bunty Walia was rude to her.
