Tanushree Dutta revealed why she’ll never join Bigg Boss, even if she’s being offered the moon.
Bigg Boss is known to make headlines every day. Recently, in a conversation, Bollywood actress Tanushree Dutta shared that she will never join Bigg Boss, even though she has been offered multiple times by the makers. She explained that she respects herself, loves her privacy and does not want to compromise her principles by participating in the reality TV show. Speaking to Bollywood Thikana, she said, “I have been refusing to participate in Bigg Boss for the last 11 years. They pursue me every year to join the show. I scold them every year. I can’t stay in a place like that. I don’t even stay with my family; we all have our own space.”
Tanushree continued by sharing that she was often offered hefty amounts to come on board, but she continuously turned them down. “They have offered me Rs 1.65 crore to participate in the show because they gave the same amount to another Bollywood celebrity who is at my level as an actor. A stylist who is part of the Bigg Boss management even said that they could offer more money, but I refused.”
She continued, “Even if they offer me the moon, I won’t go. Men and women sleeping on the same bed, fighting in the same place – I can’t do that. I am also very specific about my diet. How can they even think that I am the kind of girl who will sleep with a guy on the same bed for a reality show? I am not so cheap, no matter how many crores they give me.”
Tanushree Dutta made her Bollywood debut with Aashiq Banaya Aapne (2005) opposite Emraan Hashmi. Over the years, she has worked in films like 36 China Town, Bhagam Bhag, Risk, and more. She was last seen in the 2013 TV film SuperCops Vs Super Villains.
